THE RULES JUDGING

After a longer time of organizing the photography contests and exhibitions, the way which we conceived and put into effect, we have made a several conclusions in aim to make the judging of photos more objetive. And that is:

1.    Seven members of the jury, at least two are from abroad, with a large expiriance in photography and recognitions in the world of photography.
2.    Every member of the jury gets the CD with the photographs which are marked only by ordinal numbers.
3.    The obligation of every member of the jury is to take a look at the photos and give them a marks from 4-10 in 3 to 7 days. After giving the marks, obligation of every member of the jury is to send this marks by e-mail to the organizer.
4.    After receiving of marks from all members of the jury, the marks are inserting into the program that already has ordinal numbers, name of the photographs, names and addresses of authors and specific statistic datas that we need for a catalogue. According to the number of the photos we are determinating the minimal sum of the marks that one photo should have for the exhibition.

AND HERE FINISHES THE GAME OF NUMBERS AND WE ARE ACCEXXING THE CLASSIC WAY OF JUDGING

5.    All accepted photographs are printed in photo-lab “PROFICOLOR 202” in Zajecar. Photos are printed personally by Rasa Milojevic, who has 20 years of expiriance in working with any type of photographic printers and guaranties for the quality of photos.
6.    At the day od judging, jury is gathering to make decision about giving the prices. Organizer has obligation to show to the jury all accepted photos for the exhibition.
7.    Organizer needs to give to the five members of the jury, to see, double larger number of highest rated photographs from the number that they need for a prices.
If organizer is giving 15 prices ( medals and diploms ) he needs to give at least 30 photos that have a highest sum of marks and they are all equally taking a part in selection of the prices.
8.    We think that this way of judging is the most objective for authors and their photographs.
9.    Organizer, Photoclub 202, is printing the catalogue of 100-135 pages and every author that has participated the exhibition is getting the catalogue in predicted time. All catalogues are rated from FIAP with the highest marks, 4 and 5 stars.
10.    CD’s that authors have sent – we are destroying, and at one CD we make an archive of all accepted photos for exhibition for some retrospective exhibition later. Printed photographs are staying in the Archive of National Museum in Zajecar, to be kept ( “Ecological truth”, “Child” and “Zajecar” ), in the museum of  mining and metallurgy in Bor are photos of Salon “BOR” and in the archive of  the Home of Youth in Zajecar – “Rock Salon”.
